Grated coconut is like breadcrumbs that make the surface of the food crispy outside.
The result is this tofu snack will be soft on the inside but crispy on the outside which is amazing!
Since I have a supply of coconut, I am really excited about this recipe. You can use dry instant grated coconut, and the results will also be similar to if you use a layer of breadcrumbs.
Then, for good results, we must use a type of tofu that is perfectly solid, not a soft white tofu. If you use soft tofu, the tofu will be easier to break.

- 150 grams of grated coconut
- 1/2 tsp of salt
- 1/2 tsp of coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp of pepper powder
- 4 tbsp of cornstarch
- 3 tbsp of water
