At breakfast we often cannot eat food that is too heavy. Also, because we are on a certain diet. So, we look for other carbohydrate alternatives.
In this blog, I will share recipes for a healthy breakfast menu with simple spices. I eat this breakfast dish after I exercise.
For carbohydrates, I use corn. You can also replace it with sweet potato, or pumpkin.
Then, Tempeh for delicious plant-based protein. Indeed, you can use your own favorite, local protein ingredients. In my country, Tempeh has delicious taste.
I often hear that in other countries tempeh tastes different and tends to be disliked. Maybe it's because the quality of the soybeans is different and the manufacturing techniques are also different. So, if you don't have delicious tempeh, it's better to use other protein ingredients.
For vegetables, I will make garlic butter broccoli and carrot. I use margarine for plant based butter. I found a delicious and beautiful margin product that makes the taste of stir-fried broccoli taste better compared to broccoli recipes that only use cooking oil. So, it's good to choose a delicious plant based butter.
Let's get started to make it. Start with air-fryer Tempeh or roasted Tempeh. You can also just use pan fry if you don't have an air fryer or an oven.
THE INGREDIENTS
- 2 sweet corn (young corn)
- one head of broccoli
- two carriages
Broccoli Seasoning
- 2 tablespoons of plant-based butter (margarine)
- 5 small cloves of garlic, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of pepper powder
Roasted Tempeh
- 1 block of Tempeh
- 3-5 tablespoons of cooking oil
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of coriander powder
Cooking Instructions
Prepare Tempeh
Boil Corn
Prepare Veggies
Stir-fry Veggies
SERVING
Serve boiled corn with stir-fried garlic but vegetables and also roasted tempeh. I added hot sauce for serving.

The surprising thing is that the taste of garlic butter broccoli tastes really good 😍😋😋😋 I was lucky to find a delicious plant based butter.
