This morning was really fun, getting up earlier and doing activities as usual. Instantly this morning I got a brilliant idea, I'm too excited so my brain is working very well today. I have an idea to make a special dish, because this is the weekend, time to relax and enjoy life from the hustle and bustle of weekday activities.
In the morning, I sipped my coffee and mustered up my spirits to put my brilliant idea into action into action, planning to make a special low calorie and healthy dessert. So many cake and pastry shops selling desserts, but none of them make calorie labels and nutritional information.
During the diet program, I limited the calories that entered my body, a calorie deficit that helped me lose 10 kg in 5 months. Unlike most other diets that are too focused on extreme weight loss, I choose to relax and enjoy my body, which is constantly in the process of becoming slimmer. That's why I like the way I diet, so that my mental health is maintained.
In my diet program, I arrange my food in a day, so I can track all the calories that come in. So, making food is important in maintaining a good diet. Like this, I really want to eat dessert, because as a cheese cake lover I'm starting to slowly avoid it, I replace my favorite dessert in another way, like this recipe.
Chocolate Cream Cheese But Not Cheese, sounds so weird? But it's not like that, the shape and taste of the dessert I made has a very good taste. You can try it at home. With ingredients that are easy to find and the price is much cheaper than you buy cheese cake at a pastry shop.
Of course, I only have a few ingredients to use in making this dessert, along with local ingredients that are easy to find in traditional markets, especially if it's not sweet potato. Sounds very strange right? how can sweet potatoes be made into a delicious dessert? It's simple, this time I will give a little good information for you.
Ingredients;
In making this chocolate dessert, I need:
- 100 gr sweet potatoes
- 30 gr dark chocolate compound
- Pinch of salt
- 5 gr cocoa powder
- 10 grams of cashew nuts
How to make chocolate dessert;
- Clean the sweet potatoes so that the remaining soil attached to the sweet potatoes disappears and it's easy to peel off. Use running water so that the sweet potato is hygienic, then use a peeler to peel off the epidermis.
- After that, cut the sweet potatoes into several pieces, this is so that the sweet potatoes cook easily when steamed.
- Prepare a steamer with enough water, then put the sweet potatoes and also the chocolate compound that has been poured into a ceramic bowl so that it melts when steamed.
- Steam for 15 minutes or make sure the sweet potatoes are perfectly cooked (can be pierced with a fork to check for doneness).
- After the ingredients are steamed, put the sweet potatoes, melted chocolate and a pinch of salt into the blender. Blend it with the addition of a little water (I used 20ml of water).
- Prepare the mica to form the dessert dough, place it on a plate, pour the mixture slowly and spread it over the dough.
- After that, sieve the cocoa powder over the dessert mixture. Sprinkle a little cashews and edible flowers.
- Chocolate Cream Cheese But Not Cheese is ready to be served with a cup of coffee or hot tea.
