Hello everyone!
Today I just watch netflix at home all day. There is a series that is currently at the top of netflix's top number 1 entitled 'All of us are death' which my husband and I watched all day. Since the internet quota will run out tomorrow, and there is another 15 GB of quota remaining, so we decided to relax all day with the latest series.

The series All of us are death tells the story of the rampant zombie virus created by a chemistry teacher in Hyosan City, South Korea. He made the zombie virus to avenge his son who was bullied at school. But unfortunately, the virus was spread by one of the high school students at the chemistry teacher's school.

It's so exciting that we watched this series, until we ran out of snacks that we bought before watching. After lunch, my husband said he wanted to make Cimol snacks to continue watching the series. I quickly answered yes and made the snack.

While I was watching, I also made the snack. Because making it is also very easy and also only requires a few ingredients. The basic ingredients of this snack are tapioca flour. Incidentally, I always stock tapioca flour in the kitchen cupboard. I don't know why tapioca flour is a flour that I always remember when shopping monthly. Could it be because I really like everything made from tapioca flour? I guess the reason I always buy tapioca flour is that it's hard to get if you don't buy it in supermarkets. Very rarely sold in local shops.

This time I want to make melted potato cimol. I have 250 grams of potatoes which is enough for the two of us to snack, luckily I know the right composition for this recipe and it is adjusted to the amount of potatoes I have. Curious about the recipe? Check this out!

Potato Cimol Ingredients:

  • 250 gr potatoes (I used regular yellow potatoes)
  • 100 gr tapioca flour
  • 50 gr cornstarch
  • 70 ml of water
  • Antaka Balado Powder
  • The oil for frying
  • Pinch of salt

How to Cook Potato Cimol:

  • Steam the potatoes until soft. I steam before the potatoes are peeled, but before that the potatoes are thoroughly washed.

  • After the potatoes are cooked and soft, mash the potatoes using a long glass. This glass will really help speed up the smoothness of the potatoes.

  • Add tapioca flour, cornstarch and salt. Mix well.

  • Add water gradually so that the dough does not get runny easily. Make sure the dough is evenly distributed and the texture is as photo.

  • Shape the dough round while waiting for the oil to heat up.

  • Potato cimol is ready to be served!

How easy is it to make it? In the process of making this cimol, I watched while forming a round dough. I didn't feel the dough was finished, I formed it into a round shape, and I took a little time to fry and prepare it.
