For the past 6 months, I have been living with my in-laws. One of the reasons why I live with them is to be close to them, because during my 6 years of marriage with my husband, we have never lived together. For that, we left our house and tried to live side by side with my husband's parents.

They only live together in a fairly large house, for that my husband wants to look after them during their old age. It turns out that living with my in-laws is not as scary as I thought, because there are many stories from friends, that it is very uncomfortable to be in the same house with my in-laws, but not with me. They loved me as much as they loved their children.

While I was living with my in-laws, I never cleaned the house, because domestic work was always done by my mother-in-law, I wasn't even allowed to hold a broom, except for cleaning our room. However, I'm not arbitrary like that, in return, I always make them delicious food and snacks to relax in the afternoon.

The habit that my father-in-law always does is to drink coffee and eat snacks in the afternoon, while enjoying cigarettes on the terrace of the house, not only that, the closest neighbors sometimes participate. So, not infrequently I make quite a lot of snacks to be enjoyed together.

I really like cooking, especially when I see the happy smiles of those who enjoy my cooking, I feel like flying at that moment, a tribute to myself for making other people happy even if just by making food.

I have made many recipes, almost all of the snacks I have made are from Indonesian cuisine, there are so many recipes on the internet. Easy right? Well, yesterday afternoon, I made a snack that is loved by many people, Tahu Walek or Tofu Walek. A snack that is widely discussed, is made from steamed tofu and then topped with tapioca flour dough. I guarantee, this recipe will be liked by everyone. This typical Sundanese dish is very delicious when dipped in sambal rujak.
