For dinner a sandwich made with lentils, green leafy vegetables, soya cheese, hummus and tomato. Today I wanted to have something tasty, nutritious and quick to prepare.
I haven't been in this community for a long time, but it is true that from time to time I enjoy simply looking at some of the recipes that you share in this special space.
The first thing I did was to prepare the lentil meats, in the fridge was preserving a lentils prepared specifically for lunch, to take advantage of them I made a mixture of them with yellow cornmeal and spices (to taste, I applied as usual ground organo and salt), once the lentil dough ready, I proceeded to fry them, at the same time I left the mix of salad or green leafy vegetables disinfecting, the breads I toasted and finally I prepared the sandwich.
For its preparation we used bread, hummus, green leafy vegetables, tomato, soya cheese, lentil meat, bread again and finally olive oil.
Being creative in relation to the preparation of nutritious dishes is a cultivated art (from my parents I have learned, it is really surprising when there is little food)... Sometimes you simply have to cook with what is economically available to you, making it a challenge to make it a priority.
Ingredients and portion of lentil meat obtained
°Two cups of cooked lentils
°One cup of cornflour
°A handful of greens
°Half a tablespoon of salt
°One tablespoon of ground oregano
°Half a tomato
°Two slices of soya cheese
°Two loaves of bread
°One tablespoon of olive oil
With that amount of lentil dough on average 8 lentil meats are prepared (although it really depends on how big and thick you want to make them).
