If you are a okra lover than this recipe is for you. Today I'm going to present masala okra recipe which is a good option for a perfect indian meal.
Okra masla recipe is a simple, unique and a magical recipe which made with okra which also know as bhindi or ladyfinger, besan (gram flour) , onion and some spices. The crunchines of okra and the fragrance of gram flour & other herbs give it a wow taste.
This recipe can be enjoy as a side dish, can be enjoy with chapathi , rice and daal. A simple and healthy recipe which loved by everyone. Kids also enjoy this recipe.
It is also important to follow all tips to make non-sticky okra dish.

Ingredients ✅
Okra (ladyfinger) 250 gram
Onion 1 spliced chopped
Green chilli 1/2
Gram flour 2 tbsp
Oil 2 tbsp
Mustard seeds 1 tsp
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Carrom seeds 1, tsp
Hing 1 pinch
Salt according to taste
Red chilli powder 1 tbsp
Cumin powder 2 tbsp
Turmaric powder 1 tbsp
Lemon 1 tsp
Garam masala 1 tsp
Method ✅
Step 1:
First take the okra and wash it properly. Now dry all okra with a cotton cloth before cut the bhindi(okra).
After that cut the edges from both side and cut the bhindi like this:
Now take the onion the green chilli and cut the Onion in the slices and green chilli finely.
Preparation is done to make this recipe.
Step 2:
Now take a kadai , and roast the gram flour.
You cam roast it dry. Remember stir it continues on the low flame . When you notice the colour has charged and get nice aroma turn off the flame and transfer it in another bowl.
Step 3:
In the same kadai, put 2 tbsp oil in it and heat it.
When the oil get hot enough add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, carrom seeds and hing.
Step 4:
When seeds are crackle add sliced onion nd green chilli in it. Cook for some seconds on the medium flame.
Step 5:
Now add the okra in it. Mix it and cook on the low flame.
Step 6:
Add salt and turmeric powder and cook okra until it become soft.
At this time you can also add some drops of lamon juice to make non-sticky okra recipe. Also don't cover it otherwise okra become sticky.
Step 7:
When okra cooked 90% add other spices in it.
Add red chilli powder, cumin powder and garam masala. If you skip to add lemon juice add aamchur powder.
Step 8:
Now add roasted gram flour. Give it a good mixture and feel the aroma of it.
Cook it for some seconds and turn off the flame.
Masala okra dish is ready to enjoy.
