Some time ago I went to the market to shop for some vegetable ingredients, but who would have thought that there weren't many vegetables in the market today. I think this is because Eid is almost in sight and only a few days left. I see a lot of fried tofu being sold in the market, the tofu is packaged properly, one pack is sold at a very cheap price of IDR 5,000, with quite satisfying contents.
When I got home I immediately processed it into a delicious snack for the family. I have an idea to make crispy tofu filled with corn vermicelli.
As a tofu lover, I am used to enjoying tofu stuffed with various vegetables. But what if the noodles are filled with tofu ?, will the taste be amazing or vice versa. Well, noodles are a favorite dish of millions of people, especially if they are prepared with a variety of different types, it will definitely make you always curious about the best taste this time.
Corn vermicelli, this time the choice of tofu filling is crispy fried on the outside. Fried with various types of flour combined to give a good quality of taste for a special day.
Ingredients
15 pieces of fried tofu
1 red onion
2 cloves of garlic
1 stalk of green onion
3 stalks of celery
1 tomato
20 grams of bean sprouts
100 grams of wheat flour
50 grams of rice flour
Cooking Procedure
Cut all the vegetables according to taste, then don't forget to also cut the shallots and garlic.
Sauté the shallots and garlic, then add the tomatoes until wilted.
Add the chilies, then stir-fry until all are wilted.
Add all the vegetables then stir and cook until the vegetables are half cooked.
Enter the noodles that have been soaked in warm water, drain and stir until evenly distributed.Cook for a while until cooked, don't forget to season with salt.
Wait for the noodles to cool, then add them to the tofu, tear the top of the tofu a little and then add the noodles.
After everything is ready to be filled, stir all the flour with water little by little until it thickens, add a little salt.
Dip the tofu that has been filled with thick flour, then fry until cooked until golden yellow.
Results
Serve tofu filled with vermicelli, with soy sauces that adds freshness to every bite. This tofu snack has a crunchy texture on the outside and soft on the inside, the combination of vermicelli and spices has an authentic taste and is definitely delicious.
