Serve simple chives by combining other ingredients that are easy to find at home. Chives are one of my dad's favorite vegetables, he always asks to bring home a few bunches of chives when mysister comes home. Because these vegetables are rarely found in the market where I live. So we often ask my sister for the furniture there when she comes to visit. Maybe here we are far from shallot cultivators. Now, as you know, chives are a vegetable that comes from cultivated shallots, but many cultivators cultivate chives as a vegetable. Unlike the area where my sister lives, chives are usually found there when the shallot harvest season arrives there. And these vegetables can be obtained for free during harvest, because usually we help the onion farmers to clean the onions from the leaves.
When you cook chives there are a number of things to note, don't add shallots to the stir fry. This means that this vegetable already has small sprouts of shallots, so the aroma of the onions will also be very strong. In addition, chives also have a naturally sweet taste and are very tasty in combination with various other types of vegetables. Now to process it, here I process it simply, just stir-fry it with a few ingredients. Here are the steps to prepare it!
Ingridients
3 pieces of fried tofu
30 grams of bean sprouts
1 tomato
2 green chilies
1 teaspoon of salt
Cooking Procedure
Stir-fried dishes are always easy meals to make at home, even during busy working days. I started cutting all the ingredients, including cut tofu according to taste.
Then stir-fry with a little tomato cooking oil and chives. Mix all the ingredients in one stir-fry so that it cooks evenly.
Add sliced green chilies and a little water, this chili is optional because I want it a little spicy.
Add salt and stir-fry until all the ingredients are stirred withered.
When all is done, serve on your preferred plate, then enjoy stir-fried chives with warm rice or whatever you prefer. It tastes savory, naturally sweet from chives and also bean sprouts. The perfect blend of all the ingredients is very good for this, even tofu which can be enjoyed together with vegetables to make it even more delicious. This is perfect for lunch and even dinner with your family at home.
