Radish is a very nutritious vegetable that is easily available in the market at a low price. Radish Malluma is a delicious and nutritious dish from Sri Lanka, also known for its health benefits. Materials Used.
200g with radish and leaves.
1/2 Teaspoon of turmeric powder.
1/2 teaspoon of pepper powder.
1/3 teaspoon of Mustard powder.
Curry leaves.
1or 2 cinnamon sticks.
A piece of rampe.
Some chopped onion.
2 cloves of crushed garlic.
2 chopped green chillies.
Salt to taste.
50g of grated coconut.
2 Tablespoon of coconut oil.
The cooking process as follows.
First, cut off the radish leaves and stems, and remove the skin from the radish stems. Next, finely chop the radish tuber and leaves.
Put the cut Radish pieces and Radish leaves in salt water for about 10 minutes.
Then squeeze it well, remove the water and put it in another container.
Now we add grated coconut, mustard powder, turmeric powder and salt according to taste and mix well.
Next we take a pot again and put it on the stove and add about 2 table spoons of coconut oil. Once it is hot, add garlic and fry a little. Now add onions, chillies, rampe, curry leaves and cinnamon and fry a little.
Next, we add the mixed radishes.
Then we mix it and cook it for about 5 minutes and remove it from the stove.
