Today I am gonna share a simple and easy recipe.
Green chutney is a popular food in Pakistani cuisine, known for its tangy and refreshing flavor. Typically, it is made with herbs and spices such as coriander, mint, and green chilies.
In this recipe, we'll be making a delicious green chutney with yogurt that not only tastes great but is also healthy and I hope you all will enjoy it.
INGREDIENTS
To make this chutney, you'll need the following ingredients:
📍1 cup of yogurt
📍1/2 cup of chopped coriander leaves
📍1/2 cup of chopped mint leaves
📍2-3 green chilies
📍Salt, to taste
📍1/2 tsp of cumin powder
📍1/2 tsp of chaat masala (optional)
📍1 tbsp of lemon juice
PROCEDURE
Here's how you can make the chutney:
In a blender or food processor, blend the coriander leaves, mint leaves, green chilies, ginger, and garlic until you get a smooth paste.
In a separate bowl,
Mix the green chutney paste with the yogurt and stir well.
Add salt, chaat masala (if using), and lemon juice to the bowl and mix well.
Taste the chutney and adjust the seasoning to your liking.
Transfer the chutney to a serving bowl and garnish it with chopped coriander leaves.
This green chutney of yogurt is perfect as a dip for chips or veggies, and it goes well with dishes like samosas, kebabs, and sandwiches so you can try it with anyone according to your taste.
In Ramadan, we must make this green chutney, and in my home, I make it for my family!
