How I Became a Part-Time Cook

in #hive-1805699 months ago

Namaste to all vegan #chefs and #foodies.🙏

I sat down to write this blog to share a delicious recipe with you all, at that time its title was also different. But then while writing I realized that since I am blogging on food as a cook for the first time. You should first know the story of how I became a cook.

So, I have been fond of delicious food since childhood, but I developed a hobby for cooking only a few years ago. This hobby started with making simple Meggie to fill my stomach when my wife used to go to her parent's house. Then when I got bored of eating the same food every time, I thought why not cook something different of my choice for myself?🤔
And since then, whenever my wife went to her parents' house, I used to cook different delicious dishes, eat them, and enjoy me time. 😎

Then once upon a time, I excitedly whatsapp a picture of the beautiful and delicious meal I prepared for myself to my wife along with a delightfully excited emoji.🫥
btw in the above picture you can see rice on the left, masala bhindi in the middle, and chat-pati daal on the right. and it was very very very tasty 😋

I didn't know that she (my wife) was eating a simple boiled Meggie at her parent's house that day. 😂😂

At that time she smiled and happily praised me and encouraged me. But then... a day after coming back home she said, I also wanted a holiday every week. 👀

Okay so? 🧐

So, why don't you sharpen your cooking skills? She said while raising her brow.

What do you mean by that? I cook decent food for myself when needed, I'm happy with that only. 😶‍🌫️

But I am not. How would I know if you're eating well when I'm not home?
(I saw playfulness in her eyes but what she said reflected her concern for me.)😕

But I did send a picture of the food, it was really very tasty. Why would I lie?

Yes, the food looked good, but the taste should also be checked. After all, I am your wife, I care about you. She said all this with a glint in her eyes and shrugged her shoulders.

😨😕😨Ok but...

So it is decided; from now on you will cook a meal for both of us every weekend. She said and dropped the mic!

So this is how I became a permanent part-time cook!
Hope you enjoyed it. From now on, whenever I cook something good, I will definitely bring it for you all.

She made sure that you cook the food every weekend without any offence. That's a nice tactic.

Haan bhai, mujhe tabhi pata chala ki biwi ke saamne apni tareef nahi karte😅😅 But truly that was a nice tactic!

Lekin ab to Jo hona tha WO hogya. Haha

Enjoyed reading your article. So you are a wonderful cook too. I strongly support your wife of giving weekend free from kitchen. This is how a strong bonding begins. Enjoy cooking! Its a real art.

Arre sir kahan wonderful... galti se ban gaya tha accha khana😄😄 But anyway, thank you itni tareef ke liye😊🙏

Galti se bana....isii liyae achaaa hua....Anyway good my friend

That "masala bhindi" looks delicious I have planted 😀, in my region it is known as "Quimbobó", Regards your wife, you don't want to miss out on those delicacies 😅😀💯

'Quimbobo' nice... So, whenever you pluck quimbobo from your plant and cook, give us a chance to taste it too.😁😋

My wife and my grandmother are the ones who prepare it, there is a kind of trick since this is very slimy, I will try to find the opportunity to bring them here 😄

That daal chaval bhindi looks so delicious 😋
And that's great now your wife will get some relief on weekends 😜 and you can sharpen your cooking skills 😉

😅😅Haan uske liye toh accha hi hai..
Is sabse maine seekha ki kabhi kabhi apni jyada tareef karna bhi harmful ho jata hai😄😄

Hahaha...me to bas wife ke point of view se dekh rhi hu 😜😜

Ek husband union bhi honi chahiye!😅😅

Hahaha ... for discussion es Sunday ko kya bnaya jaye 😜😜

Nahiiii... jo humare liye awaaz uthaye😆😆

Looks super yummy!

It taste super yummy too! But here I learned that one should not praise oneself too much, especially in front of one's wife.😅😋🙏
