Day by day, weekend by weekend and here it is, January is almost over.
If I were a normal man (or, to put it simply, an average man), so that I wouldn't buy what I don't need, which you could see in this post, I probably would have joined the @mipiano great topic for January in the #HiveCollectors community much earlier.
I would have ten, twenty pairs of socks and I would take a picture of them in two minutes.
This way it took me a little more time to collect and photograph all the interesting socks I have in my closet.
And I have a lot of them 😂
If I had looked in my closet ten years ago, when I was more "serious", I would have seen only one-color socks, mostly black, which were "Hell" for me to pack.
But that's why today, my drawer is colorful.
All the socks I use now are packed "under the thread", and I still have a lot of unpacked socks.
The most colorful ones I wear are the Happy socks, which I like to call special occasion socks, such as the ones with beer mugs that I wear when I go to a pub.
I have these polka dots that go for casual walking. when I'm wearing sneakers.
I'll probably open the ones with balls when I go to a basketball game, and the ones with smileys and balloons to a sock party.
I have socks that I wear on Valentine's Day (the ones with hearts) and socks that I bought in Spain with corrida details, which I do not support at all.
Socks with the image of Santa Claus and a Christmas tree and presents, you guessed it, I wear them around Christmas and New Year.
And when I need more discreet socks, it's these black ones, with Monsters details. I love them so much that I bought a pack of new ones when I was last in Hungary (where I also bought the first ones).
I also have these that look totally business. Until I take off the shoes, when the heel is in a different color, and the toes and the part with the slipper with coloured lines or these with dots.
Polka dots and black monsters for business needs, I complete the cover with finer geometric details, rhombuses and lines.
But well, what kind of collection is this?
Where is the personal seal, where are some socks that are worth more to you than some that you can buy for 3, 5 or 10 e (these Spanish ones 🙂).
Here they are!
Manual work.
I have some "Zepice" that my mother made, which I wear around the house when my feet are cold. They are wool socks and they are very comfortable, especially on colder days.
On my feet under the zepice I have another interesting pair of socks, which I could wear when I go to the casino😁
But since I'm not a gambler, I wear them whenever I can get my hands on them, because even a man in a crypto is sometimes considered a gambler.
And I also have one that is worn at night in boots, when it is very cold outside. They are new to me, I only wore them a couple of times.
And they are especially dear to me because my cousin, who passed away shortly after, gave them to me.
I keep them in my collection as a dear memory, because I will never have such socks again in my life. Hand-spun wool and knitted socks on my feet, to fit me perfectly.
And so, after almost all of January, and taking pictures of all these socks, I'm finally sharing my collection of socks with you.
