Welcome to my blog
This is my second participation in February, at the invitation of my friend @mipiano which is about musical instruments. Today I have the pleasure to show you a few instruments that were easy, since in the closet, I have another group, because I did not have time to go down, maybe another time.
The first cuatro I played was my mother's, at that time I could not learn only cambur pintón or compadre pancho. I had no teacher and I dismissed it from my mind.
Then, among several objects in a trunk, I got this Hohner melodica and this harmonica from my brother.
Then with my sons, the eldest did not want to know about music, and my daughter was going the same way until one of my friends had his son enrolled in the house of culture of the city learning percussion 🥁. And I realized that it would be interesting to enroll my daughter there, I talked to her and she agreed.
We took her every afternoon after high school class and she was not so animated, until, some classmates and she challenged each other and began to want to play the instrument to beat them, my mom's cuatro lent it to me while I bought hers, and every day she was excited until she managed to master the notes, understand the scores, she enrolled in guitar, mandolin, violin, transverse flute, piano, clarinet, recorder, maracas. I bought all the instruments he wanted to learn except the clarinet, some were new and others used. Also accessories such as strings, paral, foot rest, tuner, straws, different methods.
He studied theory and solfeggio at the conservatory, as well as mandolin, classical guitar and specialized in the cuatro, which he currently teaches.
Apart from my mother's four, I bought 01 that would be for her practice. It looks very used. I will plan soon a retouching and maintenance also for my mother's, which is a souvenir.
Then in the country I had a bodega and there they received a cuatro for food, that is to say a barter, then when we went there they gave me the cuatro for my daughter to use all the vacations, she practiced several days, it had good sound and one night she left it on a plastic box on the counter and when I went to turn off the TV, I pulled the plastic to protect it, I threw the cuatro on the floor, it was damaged and disassembled. I brought it to the city and here there are several luthiers, and they fixed it, leaving it perfect, with good sound and now it is the one he uses for concerts in its protective lining.
The mandolins
I particularly love the melodies played with this instrument. Especially one of Simón Diaz, Luna de margarita. When my daughter uses them I feel proud and very happy of her achievement.
The recorder, the harmonica and the melodica
Although I don't know how to play any instruments and neither does my husband, we managed to get our daughter excited about music ♬.
It was a pleasure to share this small sample of my daughter's musical instruments, I hope everyone in this #Hive-Collectors community liked them, I look forward to your feedback.
Well my #Hive-Collectors friends have a nice day!
