The store is small and sells Japanese goods, including sushi, which they make in-store. A saunter down the street that is bursting with colours thanks to the trees that line the street. Down to the beach to see the blue and the splashes of sunset, which as the fall continues its march, looks beautiful in a range of colours.
Clamber up the rocks, and the logs that have been deposited on this part of the beach by tidal action, storms, and all the natural phenomena that shapes the rocky shore.
Cut the soya sauce and pour it over the sushi. Take out the chopsticks from their case, put them between fingers, or better yet just use fingers, and grabbing a slice of this visual masterpiece, deposit in mouth and let the flavours take you all the way across the ocean to Japan.
I thought it would be cool to close this culinary post with some words in Japanese that spell out "Have a nice meal!" But after doing some research, I learned that the Japanese are too humble and unassuming to shower praise on something that should just be quietly and privately enjoyed within the confines of your own gustatory system.
