One of the cool things about autumns are often rains. Yes - rain :) Even though it might be annoying in some circumstances and generally it gets complained about, it's damn great! It cleans the everything from the summer dust, the air is fresh, the colours are vivid and one can feel like a kid walking on puddles. Just great!
And of course all the droplets glistening and waiting to be shot before the wind shakes them off.
But before we get to the sparkles we get this milky bokeh. When the place is surrounded by tall trees and most of it is in the shadow. The background looks almost like fog with some shy bokeh coming though.
The tall grasses lose their bluff and just hang looking sad.
It is a nice, muddy walk (my shoes hate me for it) until the spot with some setting sun.
But then in the sun we get all the fall berries, leaves changing colours and flowers that will last till the first frosts.
Rain is good :)
I am not sure what the dark ones above are, not if they are edible.
The red below are Hawthorn and they are definitely edible. Plenty of bushes around the woods and fields covered with tiny red apples (as I used to call them when I was a kid). In spring the bushes are covered in tiny white flowers which look equally amazing.
Tanacetum vulgare with lovely yellow flowers below.
