You know those old black and white photographs where the whole family would stand all nicely lined up in front of a cameraman? Probably a rare moment to take a photo and one or two chances to get it right.
That's what this image 👇 reminds me of :)
Stand still, keep your legs straight, look at the camera and smile.
I wasnt planning to shoot any animals that day. I took the old Helios lens which has only manual focus and wanted to catch more still objects with nice bokeh in the background.
I'm tellin' ya... moving animals and manual focus is not a good match.
At all.
But they were there. Looking so freaking adorable! Fluffy clouds on skinny ballerina legs :D
I saw them on the other side of their place and as soon as I got closer to the fence they came running. I wonder of people usually feed them with some goodies there, though they do have enough grass and other weeds to munch on.
Posed for a bit....
Saw that the grass I tried to bribe them with is the same they have on their side... so fuck it... "Who are you trying to fool Missy?"
And off they went not even looking at me anymore...
Shot with Sony a7R + Helios 40-2 lens
