Matthew 17:5 (KJV) While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.
One of the great lessons which I have learnt from the teachings of the Members Church Of God International, is that Jesus Christ is our Teacher. Jesus Christ is our Teacher and He is the one we should listen to. He is the one which the Father has ordained and sent to bring us the doctrines and commandments of God. We are to listen to Him. We should not listen to any other person, it is only Jesus Christ which we should listen to.
Matthew 28:20 (KJV) Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Everything that the Lord Jesus Christ taught us is the commandments of God. He said that he has not done anything on His own. Everything that he did and taught was from the Father. He did online what the Father instructed Him to do.
The teachings of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior are written in the Bible. We must study our Bible and obey His instructions. The MCGI teachings of Mass Indoctrination and other videos from the Old Path series are teachings which align with the doctrines of Jesus Christ. When we listen to these teachings, we are hearing the teachings of Jesus Christ which are the commandments of God.
1 Corinthians 14:37 (KJV) If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.
Let us obey these doctrines and live our lives in accordance to them. We should not ignore the doctrines of Jesus Christ. If we do so, we will bring condemnation upon ourselves. Let us as true disciples, obey the doctrines and the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ because those are the commandments of God unto God.
