We are not existing for ourselves, we are existing for God. The purpose of our existence can only be known from knowing what the purpose of God for ourselves is. We are created by God to show forth His glory. We are existing to manifest the purpose of God.
God is the One who created us. He created us for himself. We are His workmanship. We are existing for Him. We are not existing for ourselves. It is the purpose of God which we are going to manifest. We were created to show forth His glory.
When we try to live in order to satisfy ourselves, we will end up being disobedient to God. When we forget about the plan of God and refuse to obey His commandments, we will fail Him. Let us always remember that we are created to fulfill the purpose of God.
