One of the main points of the teachings of the MCGI is good works. Bro Eli Soriano has emphasized time and again that we should do good to our fellow men. We have learnt from the doctrines that as christians, doing good is our obligation.
Galatians 6:10 (KJV) As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
The Bible says that we should do good to all men. That is we should minister to everyone in good works. We should give out of our resources to those who are in need. We should help those who need help. To every person, we are expected to do good.
Hebrews 10:24 (KJV) And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
Also the Bible admonishes that when we come together in the gatherings we should observe one another to provoke unto love and good works. We should relate with the brethren in the church in good works. We should offer help and supply whatever we know that is the need of one another.
John 13:35 (KJV) By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
Our Lord Jesus Christ said that it is by our good works that men will know that we are the disciples of Jesus Christ. We should not just profess with our mouths, we should show our love through good works.
