When someone dies, when it is a brother in the faith, or in any other situation, it causes a certain pain that remains for a time, but when we are certain that we will have a heavenly reunion with Jesus Christ or with our brothers, the panorama is totally different, the person dies but we eagerly long for a reunion.
13 But brothers, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve as others do who have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus. 15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore encourage one another with these words.
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
A question that haunts humanity is that people wonder what happens after one dies? For this we have biblical truths that give us light and clarify the future.
Paul clearly explains what will happen at the second coming of Jesus Christ, this is for all those who died believing that Jesus Christ is their savior and also for those who do not believe, he explains what will happen to those who died and to those who will still be alive at the coming of Christ.
11 who also said to them: Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.
Acts 1:11
We see that Jesus Christ will descend from heaven just as he ascended into heaven, later we also read that God will raise up those who have died first.
8 But we are confident, and would rather be absent from the body and present with the Lord.
2 Corinthians 5:8
In this second phase those saints who are still alive will rise into the air to meet Jesus at that time they will receive a glorified body and will join the Lord forever.
Why should we know what will happen in the future regarding death? It is important that we pay attention to what will happen in the future since God has promised us a hope and in this way we will not be sad for those who died as well as those who have no more hope.

Knowing all these biblical truths about what will happen at the return of Jesus Christ and after death allows us to comfort one another with this biblical knowledge. All of this also reveals to us the amazing love of God, gives us comfort, hope, and new strength to endure all the difficulties that arise in our lives. That is why when Paul speaks about those "who are asleep" let us remember those who have passed away and rejoice in the hope of the resurrection on the day of Jesus Christ.

Cuando alguien fallece, cuándo es un hermano en la fe, o en cualquier otra situación causa cierto dolor que permanece por un tiempo, pero cuando tenemos la certeza que tendremos un reencuentro celestial con Jesucristo o con nuestros hermanos el panorama es totalmente diferente, la persona muere pero anhelamos un reencuentro con entusiasmo.
13 Tampoco queremos, hermanos, que ignoréis acerca de los que duermen, para que no os entristezcáis como los otros que no tienen esperanza. 14 Porque si creemos que Jesús murió y resucitó, así también traerá Dios con Jesús a los que durmieron en él. 15 Por lo cual os decimos esto en palabra del Señor: que nosotros que vivimos, que habremos quedado hasta la venida del Señor, no precederemos a los que durmieron. 16 Porque el Señor mismo con voz de mando, con voz de arcángel, y con trompeta de Dios, descenderá del cielo; y los muertos en Cristo resucitarán primero. 17 Luego nosotros los que vivimos, los que hayamos quedado, seremos arrebatados juntamente con ellos en las nubes para recibir al Señor en el aire, y así estaremos siempre con el Señor. 18 Por tanto, alentaos los unos a los otros con estas palabras.
1 Tesalonicenses 4:13-18
Una pregunta que ronda en la humanidad, es que las personas se preguntan ¿qué es lo que sucede después de qué uno muere?, para ello tenemos las verdades bíblicas que nos dan luz y nos aclara el futuro.
Pablo nos explica claramente lo que sucederá en la segunda venida de Jesucristo, esto es para todos aquellos que murieron creyendo que Jesucristo es su salvador y también para los que no creen, explica qué sucederá con aquellos que murieron y con aquellos que todavía estarán vivos a la venida de Cristo.
11 los cuales también les dijeron: Varones galileos, ¿por qué estáis mirando al cielo? Este mismo Jesús, que ha sido tomado de vosotros al cielo, así vendrá como le habéis visto ir al cielo.
Hechos 1:11
Vemos que Jesucristo descenderá del cielo así mismo como ha ascendido al cielo, más tarde también leemos que Dios resucitará primero a los que habían muerto.
8 pero confiamos, y más quisiéramos estar ausentes del cuerpo, y presentes al Señor.
2 Corintios 5:8
En esta segunda fase aquellos santos que aún están vivos se levantarán en el aire para encontrarse con Jesús en ese momento recibirán un cuerpo glorificado y se unirán al Señor por siempre.
Por qué debemos conocer lo que sucederá en el futuro con respecto a la muerte? Es importante que estemos atentos a lo que sucederá en el futuro ya que Dios nos ha prometido una esperanza y de esta manera no nos entristeceremos por aquellos que murieron al igual que aquellos que no tienen mas esperanzas.

Conocer todas estas verdades bíblicas acerca de lo que sucederá el regreso de Jesucristo y después de la muerte nos permite que nos consolemos los unos a los otros con este conocimiento bíblico. Todo esto también nos revela el asombroso amor de Dios, nos da consuelo, esperanza y nuevas fuerzas para soportar todas las dificultades que se presentan en nuestras vidas. Es por eso que cuando Pablo habla acerca de aquellos "los que duermen" recordemos aquellos que han fallecido y gocemos no en la esperanza de la resurrección en el día de Jesucristo.
