Placing our trust in Jesus Christ as the only and sufficient savior allows us to live a full life here on earth and receive eternal life as a gift.

Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God; and everyone who loves Him who begot also loves him who is begotten of Him. 2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments. 3 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome. 4 For everyone who is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world, our faith. 5 Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
6 This is Jesus Christ, who came by water and blood; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is truth. 7 For there are three who bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one. 8 And there are three who bear witness on earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree. 9 If we receive the testimony of men, the testimony of God is greater; for this is the testimony with which God has testified about his Son. 10 He who believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself; he who does not believe God has made him a mess, because he has not believed the testimony which God has given about his Son. 11 And this is the testimony, that God has given us eternal life; and this life is in his Son. 12 He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.

1 John 5:1-12

A few days ago I saw a documentary on Netflix, it referred to a multimillionaire who dedicates this stage of his life in search of longevity and does everything possible to achieve it. Although this search is something natural, God shows us that this life on earth does not end here.
We can change our lifestyle and live better the rest of our days here on earth, but extending life is in the hands of God, he has arranged the number of days for us here on earth. But life is not limited to the earth, the Lord has promised us eternal life in the perfect home, this we can achieve when by faith in Jesus Christ we accept Jesus Christ as savior, there a new birth takes place in us, the one who will dwell with the Lord forever.
As for eternal life, it has very little to do with the place where we will live, in effect, living forever with our savior, living eternally in his presence is what really matters. We will be complete, one with the Lord.

Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God; and everyone who loves the Father loves also the Father who is born of Him.

1 John 5:1

Let us remember that the word of God is very clear, "He who has the Son has life," through Jesus we have access to eternal life. Not only do we have the opportunity to live a life in which we reach a healthy old age, we have the opportunity to receive Jesus as our savior and live a full life here on earth and eternal life forever with the Lord.
