Today's question and a food for thought is one that must be approached carefully with caution, yah i said so cause we have to carefully balance each of the perspective side by side so as to not fall victim to ignorance
There's one fact i've not really agree to terms with some of the ways of believers, and thats been careless about some certain things in life, because we have a God who will and can supply all our needs according to his riches does not mean that the believer should be ignorant about things, even the bible say my people perish for lack of knowledge that means what you know is key to your relevance in life, its like saying i have faith but yet you do nothing which is the work in there to activate it, Faith without work ia dead, its okay to have faith but you have to engage certain principles so they can be activated.
A system of organized beliefs: values, ideas, forming the basis for social, economical or political philosophy or program
First off; the word ideology is coined from ideas, thats why the first definition says closely organized system of beliefs, system here means theres a pattern, similar thoughts collected together to form a pattern a basis for societal beliefs, such that everyone should follow, these collective ideas form the bases upon which morals and ethics of the society is formed, its the basis for a developed and organised society were law and order prevails, apart from which there will be chaos, crime, injustice lawlessness, prejudice, rubbery bribery and corruption and all negative vices of the society.
Now back to Our teaching by Bro Eli weighing side by side the ways and thought pattern of the society and the ways of the lord which every believer ought to follow i have an example, recall once jesus was on the street with his disciple and tax collectors came to demand tax from him, what was his response, he simply told peter to go the river, the first fish he would caught he should open its mouth amd bring out a coin to pay afterwards he said give to ceazer what belongs to him.
As believers we live, grow, work and interact in this society, let say if a christian goes to a muslim country or buddies worshiping country he or she cannot just get up and start shouting in the street repent for Jesus is coming soon, what he or she is doing is right but is very wrong cause that society has a system of belief which is contradicting, so what that believer will do is either relocate or finds a suitable means to spread the gospel.
In a nutshell what i am driving at is altho philosophy is not in the bible, rather its a deviced thought pattern of humans to have an organised well developed society were peace and justice will prevail, however if these ideologies is lacking there will be chaos and greed in that society upon which no matter how strong the believer is he or she will not be able to live peaceably and the gospel cannot strive in that society...
