I know the world cup isn't scripted obviously, but who could have predicted these things that are happening?

This is a very serious discussion going on all over the world. Are the matches scripted? Weird things are happening during the matches. People are wondering whether the matches are fixed or not.

The world cup begins with huge hopes among all people. Everyone wants to see their team win the cup. The hopes were high for Argentina. They were the winners of last Copa America cup.

Their previous world cup record was promising with 1 final appearance.
The expectations were high for the favorite team. As they played Saudi Arabia.

We are living in a time where the world has a control on people's emotions. It is a strange time when the mighty are defeated, crushed and broken. Many of the teams which were favorite to win might get out of the race with a ease.

The rising of the underdog teams has surprised everyone.
Argentina getting beaten by Saudi Arabia, shook the whole world. This is not just a defeat but a huge shock.

Everyone after seeing Argentina vs Saudi Arabia scoreline

It is not just if Argentina would be defeated but the manner of the defeat. Even the commentators were jolted.

In football you can lose but how you lose makes a big difference as it demoralises the fans.
In the first half, the best player in the world looked nonchalant (Lionel Messi from Argentina) he strolled, he pretended to shoot and then passed it around and scored from the penalty spot.

Though Argentina had 3 goals disallowed as offside, and lot of chances saved by the Goal keeper and some blocked by the defenders who defended like it's their last.

The shocking part of Argentina's loss was their record that was destroyed. They have a run of unbeaten streak since 2019 with 36 games unbeaten. Few games left for them to beat the Italian record of 37 games of beaten. Only for them to get their record tarnished by Saudi Arabia

Germany losing 1-2 to Japan a few hours ago prompted this article.
I hope Portugal and Brazil doesn't lose their first matches too.

Don't be shocked if Ronaldo and Neymar scores a penalty for their various teams in the first half and both teams end up losing 1-2.

Stay tuned and enjoy the next fixtures of the world cup.

Note: This is just me pouring out my opinion. Feel free to add or subtract, and you can also predict the scores for tomorrow's fixtures.
