At one point in the history of humanity, an angel announced the birth of the Messiah and those shepherds who received the message were filled with great joy.
Even with the fear that the presence of the apparition of the angel caused them, this same angel tells the shepherds: "Do not be afraid." He immediately gives them the news that would be hopeful not only for them but for all the people.
The appearance of this angel uses light to dispel the darkness of the night and also in the same way the fear that was wanted to be placed in the hearts of those shepherds. This picture shows us very clearly that even in the midst of darkness, complicated and very difficult situations, the Lord Jesus Christ himself invites us to live with great joy, understanding that God is with us and that light is the same yesterday, today and forever.
And behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them; and they were greatly afraid. 10 But the angel said to them, Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people:

En un momento en toda la historia de la humanidad un ángel anuncia el nacimiento del mesías y aquellos pastores que recibieron el mensaje se llenaron de gran gozo.
Aún con el temor que les ocasionó la presencia de la aparición del ángel este mismo les dice a los pastores: "no temáis". Inmediatamente les entrega la noticia que sería esperanzadora no solamente para ellos sino para todo el pueblo.
La aparición de este ángel usa luz disipa la oscuridad de la noche y también de la misma manera el miedo que se quiso interponer en el corazón de aquellos pastores. Este cuadro nos muestra muy claramente que aún en medio de la oscuridad, situaciones complicadas y muy difíciles, el mismo señor Jesucristo nos invita a vivir con sumo gozo, entendiendo de qué Dios está con nosotros y esa luz es la misma ayer hoy y por los siglos.
Y he aquí, se les presentó un ángel del Señor, y la gloria del Señor los rodeó de resplandor; y tuvieron gran temor. 10 Pero el ángel les dijo: No temáis, porque he aquí os doy nuevas de gran gozo, que serán para todo el pueblo:
