I learnt that love covers a multitude of sin and anyone who converts a sinner from his evil ways should know that he has saved a soul from destruction.
What I learnt from the story of faith our brother Tolentino who was into so many evil vices is that through the teachings of brother Eli on the TV he changed from his evil ways and then became a member of the church of GOD through the mercies of GOD.
I learnt from his story that it is prohibited to sell alcohol,drugs because one who sells such things is going against the doctrine of GOD.
I learnt that any time we experience any form of trials,we should hold fast the doctrines of GOD and never miss out on the gathering of the children of GOD.
From what i got from the story told about some young people who wanted to work in an area was a touching one,I learnt that we should have compassion on our fellow man,no matter the age or gender and what the people in the neighborhood did was exceptional because they gave the youngsters food and they were not allowed to work because it’s against the law in the community it happened and that made the people law abiding citizens.
I learnt that the people showed the young boys compassion .
I learned that if we help others from our hearts,it is GOD who will reward us.
I learnt that if we show mercy towards others,GOD will show us mercy on the last day of judgement.
I learnt that MCGI takes into consideration the lives of people in such a way that is very important.
I learned that MCGI has taken helping people to survive,live a burden free life in the her hands and that what other churches should emulate.
We should be an instrument in the hands of GOD
I learnt from the story of someone who lives in a very far area that has no good road to either the hospital or market but with the mercy of GOD Mcgi reached out to her with all the medical assistance she needs as well as her community.
I learnt that if we are in sin,we cannot be a part of the family of GOD.
The best thing we can do to our fellow men is to do good to them,it doesn’t matter wether we know them or not but so long as we have the power,the opportunity to do good,we should never ever let such opportunities pass us by
