Summary of what I learnt from the teachings of brother Eli on our Mass indoctrination held on zoom.

A vow is what people make on their own without the pressure of anyone.
If you are seeking something from God, then make a vow to God for God to speedily grant your heart desire. Like if you are sick of something serious and you've tried all measures and you want God to heal you. As a Christian you can go to the house of God which is the church and make a vow. We should keep to our vow and fulfil it at the end of the day if you get your healing from God.

Paul was an apostle in the Bible and he made a vow in the new testament.
A vow is not what you will be forced or commanded to do. It is something you will do according to the way you promised.

2Corinthians 9:7 The scripture is telling us that every man should give according to his heart desires. He should not give with grudge in his heart or because it is a necessity. Because loves it when we give cheerfully.

You should not vow at all if you you know you will not be able to keep and fulfil it. People that make a vow and do not keep to it God has no pleasure in fools

Ecclesiastes 5:4-5 This scripture is saying that when you make a vow to God. We should keep to our promise and pay it. Because God has no pleasure in fools. We should pay what we vowed. It is better you should not vow than to vow and not pay

Giving should be done according to what our heart desires. Paying 10 percent as tithe is a doctrine of the old testament. Every man should give according to what your heart pleases that is what is written in the new testament.

Donations should be given according to what your conscience wants. It is not 10 percent, giving should be done according to your heart desire.

If you wish to give above your power it should be what you wish to do that is the doctrine of the true church in the Bible. Giving cheerfully is what God loves.

1Corinthians 16:2 This scripture is telling us every first day of the week which is on Sunday. Every one give according to the way God has prospered him.

No one has an obligation or dedication to give a particular amount to the church. Not paying of tithe does not imply you are stealing from God.

We are inviting you to join the Bible Readers community that study the words of God and also earn some reward by making our reactions on it. We can check this link https://peakd.com/c/hive-182074/trending

Thanks be to God for listening on our meeting.

MCGI Cares (Hive) community's main mission is to share the words of God, not the Hive upvotes. If we get upvotes, please treat it as just a bonus. Do not focus mainly on material things as the bible is teaching us not to look at things seen but rather focus our eyes on things not seen.

II CORINTHIANS 4:18
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
