These are the lessons I learnt from the teachings of brother Eli.
I learnt that after a person is baptized in the right way which is in the true church of God. The person person will be reborn spiritually and walk in a brand new life. Because if a man accept Christ and his doctrine and be baptize he will be come a new creature.
2Corinthians 5:17 This portion of the Bible explains it all. If any man is in Christ, he will become a new creature. Every old thing will be passed away; and every thing will become new.
There are some sins that can not be forgiven; those are the grievous sins those are the sins into death. The Bible talked about two types of sin. A sin that is unto death and a sin that is not unto death.
John 15:16 This scripture is telling us that, if you see your brother committing a sin that is not unto death he can pray and ask forgiveness from the Lord on his brother behalf but if your brother commit a sin that is unto death do not pray for him.
Praying for a brother that commit a sin unto death is of no use because God will not hear our prayer.
God only listens when the sin is not unto death because it is God's commandment for us to pray for a brother which sin is not unto death. And in the house of God which is the church if a member commits a sin unto death such person should be expelled from the church because evil communication corrupt good manners so if we leave such people in the church the good people in the church will be corrupted too.
Romans 1:32 This scripture is telling us that no man knows the judgment of God, anyone who commits a sin that is unto death we should not have pleasure in them because God have no pleasure in such people.
God does not forgive a grievous sin that is unto death. So if a man commit such sin he will not be forgiven. And also speaking against the holy spirit is unforgivable if you blaspheme the holy spirit intentionally you will not be forgiven in this life and the life after death. but if you are ignorant of it you will be forgiven.
Mathew 12:32 This scripture explains it all. It says if you speak against the son of man which is Jesus Christ you will be forgiven; but if you speak against the Holy Ghost, you will not be forgiven in this world and in the world to come.
As christains we are prohibited to eat anything that is being offered to idols
Bowing down to worship any man made God is abominable in the sight of God. We should worship only the creator which is God almighty
