Summary of what I learnt from the teachings of Brother Eli on our mass indoctrination held on Zoom.
The Bible made it clear to us that confession after a sin is not to man. When you commit a sin against a brother the first person you should confess it to and and then to the brother you sinned against and ask him for his forgiveness
Psalms 32:5 This portion of the Bible explains it all. In this scripture David did not conceal his wrongdoings he confessed his sins to God and God is always ready to forgive all his sins.
If you can acknowledge and accept your sins your sins can be forgiven. All you need to do is to admit it and ask for God's forgiveness and then the person you wronged.
Proverb 28:13 This scripture is telling us that anyone that covers his or her sin will not prosper. But if you confess and forsake your sins you will have the mercy of God and the person you offended.
As a Christian we are obligated to pray for the person that committed a sin against us.
The obligation of the person who was wronged is to pray for the person that wronged him.
If you see your brother committing a sin pray for him. It is commanded by God for the person who was sinned against to pray for you.
Isaiah 65:24 This scripture is saying that, before we call upon God in prayers he will answer us. And while we are even yet to speak he will hear us.
James 5:16 This scripture is telling us that we should confess our mistakes to one another, and pray for one another. So that we may be healed. When a righteous man prays it annuals l avails more.
Mathew 6:7-8 This scripture made it clear enough. It says we did should not use vain repetitions when we pray. We should not have the mind set that we can only be heard by God if we speak much. We should not do that, because our father in heaven knows the things we are lacking and we need before we even ask him.
Repetition of prayer point is not necessary if you are God faithfully and righteously because different portion of the Bible made it clear to us that before a righteous man is even ending his prayers God has answered already. That is the promise God made.
