Matthew 6:14-15 (KJV) For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
The lessons on forgiveness are what we christians should learn and understand very well. I am pleased to be blessed with this opportunity of listening to these messages from Bro Eli Soriano. And not only listening to it, but the commitment of reviewing these messages gives us the privilege to understand them well. And the more we understand, the more we are able to obey His commandments. The Bible says that if we forgive others, God will forgive us also. That means that we are not going to receive our forgiveness if we don't forgive others. This scripture reveals that forgiving our sins is tied to our forgiving others.
But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
We cannot see any forgiveness if we don't forgive others. God says that if we don't forgive others, He will not forgive us. I want God to forgive me my sins. So, I will learn to forgive others. I am glad to hear this message from Bro Eli Soriano. I am willing to forgive all those who offend me.
Matthew 5:7 (KJV) Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
We should be merciful unto others. We must show mercy to others. We must forgive others. When we forgive others, we are showing mercy. Another great lesson has popped up out of this passage. If we need mercy, let us give mercy to others.
Ecclesiastes 7:20 (KJV) For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.
