When God created the man, he said that it is not good that the man should be alone. The man needed a partner who would help him and God made a partner for him. The partner was made for the man in order to help him. This is the foundation of marriage. We do not just marry, we marry so that we could get someone who will help us.
The assignment God has for man was enormous for him. In the same way, the man cannot build the home all by himself. He cannot do all what God expects of him alone. He needs a partner. He needs someone who is to help him in fulfilling God's purpose for his life.
The partner that is meant for a person is the one who will help that person to fulfill God's purpose. Your partner will help you to serve God more. Your partner will strengthen you in obeying the commandments of God. Your partner will make you to love and to get close to God.
