I've never posted before in this community. It makes me pleased to know that there is a community about hairstyles on this platform, as it will help other readers and enlighten them.
The first thing I have to take care of when I start working and interacting with people is my look. I'm still trying to figure out who I am since I sometimes get confused by what other people think, especially when it comes to my hair.
Some people prefer my long hair, while others prefer it short. When I think about it, I can actually use both types of style. I don't care if it's short or long because, in my opinion, both may be styled differently.
I'm displaying a few of my hairstyles over the course of my career. Here are a few of the photos I found from my old Facebook account up to the present.
I should probably apologize now because some of the photos aren't of the best quality. I must admit that some of the hairstyles I've shown here are from the years 2003 to 2022. 19 years of hair growth and styles. Wow!!!
The way someone styles their hair says a lot about them.
If they are clean and well-kept, they take pride in how they appear, which also helps them feel more confident. A person doesn't take much pride in themselves if their hair is messy and unsightly. Unless, of course, they are homeless.
Since they are not attempting to hide behind a mane of hair, people with short, nicely styled hair typically indicate that they are quite confident.
If a woman is wearing cosmetics, it doesn't really matter if her hair is sloppy or dirty. A woman who doesn't use makeup but has well-groomed, precisely styled hair, on the other hand, will still be noticed by others.
Why would someone continually switch up her hairstyles? For me, it has no special meaning other than being a unique form of expression that the wearer and the viewers appreciate.
It much like looking at a work of art or a sunset—until it changes again, depending on a whim, a desire for experimentation or daring, or even just to brighten yourself up on a gloomy day.
This is mostly a psychology or fashion story; it is not just only about my hairstyles. There is a connection to my career, my love on fashions and appearance. I enjoy switching up my haircuts for many different reasons.
I would want to express myself through my hair if I had to wear my attire to work. I want to switch up my hairstyle as much like I switch up my wardrobe every day—okay, maybe not every day or week, but If possible, why not?"
Styling is about passion and it can be an aspiration for me. I'm bringing my style to light. I'm giving it my all when I'm on stage. I can have insecurities about anything except my hair.
I create trends. Since my haircut is constantly bold and distinctive from others, I am aware that I am readily recognized by the other people. Even some of my closest friends won't be shocked to see me bald because they said I dared to alter my hair in any way.
I know some people change their hairstyles for a reason, especially when they are brokenhearted and down. Why do people change their hairstyles when they are going through a difficult time?
Everyone must decide what brings them happiness. Having the same hair every day makes some people happy or comfortable. Some people choose not to. At its most fundamental, that is what it actually means.
Control is the key. Many things are beyond your control while you are going through anything significant, challenging, nasty, etc. You may feel better after changing the colour or style of your hair.
It may be motivating. You are reinventing who you are as a person. You can use that one thing to help you deal with the things you can't change. It's a good move. When you're feeling stressed, it can be enjoyable.
Women frequently change their appearance to maintain their sense of self-worth. Though overall they are never happy inside, it seems like every different look represents their emotional changes. As a result, they require constant stimulation through changing their outward appearance.
For me, a new hairdo is usually an instant confidence booster since it makes me feel presentable and well-groomed. I would say that you can tell that I care about my appearance and hair from the way I want it to style.
So, what about you, dear readers? Do you have any favourite hairstyles or colours that you wish you wanted to try but are not ready for? I do hope my stories and photos here can give you all inspiration to change.
A change is good, and you won't regret it once you try it. It doesn't matter who you are or what you do; as a woman in my 40s, I will look after myself, and this is called self-love.
