Hair Makeover; How I Turned My Sister's Hair Into A Gorgeous New Look

New Year, New Me!!
Hahaha, this isn't a post about my New Year's resolutions, guy; it's about how I spent my weekend. ( I had a feeling you were about to scroll past 😂) Walk with me.......

So my sis asked me to do her hair today, and since I didn't have anything much to do, I decided to do it for her.
She had a leftover extension from the previous hair she made, so I used that to make the hair for her. Initially, she wanted to just weave her natural hair without any extension, but I insisted on making something much more lovely for her.
This is my first time posting in this amazing community, and I'm glad to share my work with you all 🤗

Materials I used
Edge control
Comb/scissors
Shea butter
Lush Hair Extensions
Mega Growth Leave-in Hair Strengthener
Curler

I washed her hair first with shampoo and conditioner and then added Mega growth leaves in the hair straightener, and since her hair is natural, I didn't let it dry completely before weaving. I used the edge control to make the lines cleaner and finer. Her hair is short and very thick, so it was quite a task for me to weave the hair without it coming out, and honestly, the result was perfect.

After I finished with the weaving, it was time to trim and curl the hair. I used my scissors to trim any excess extensions and hair lying around. And then for the curls, I used the curler to curl the hair like this. After I finished with the curls, I set my hot water on fire and allowed it to boil before pouring it on the hair ( not the whole head lol, but on the braids). She said she wanted curls in front, too, so I used the curler and extensions to make my curls for the front. After I was done with the hot water set, I used my towel to dry the hair thereafter removing the curler from the hair.

After I was done, I attached the extra curls I made to her hair with a crochet hook.
I made the hair a little bit long so she could pour it, but she insisted that she preferred the hair packed up, which I did. And it looked nice. After I was done, I laid her edges for her ( this is the most interesting part about hairmaking for me hihi)

She was so happy and loved the result of her hair. I'm sure you guys can tell from how she sat pretty for her shoot. She told me she used to admire people with this particular hairstyle, and now she has finally made it, so it made her happy. I was happy because she loved her hair too. And yes! She got so many compliments, and everyone at home loved the hair too. My younger sis said she also wants to make this same style before traveling to school, so guys this hairdresser is booked for the week already hehe.
Happy client, Happy braider hehe.
