People photography is not my strong point but that doesn’t mean I won’t take on the challenge. Yesterday at a BBQ, I did just that. After grilling for a good 2-3 hours ( something else I also love to do), I got my camera out of my back pack and started socializing and snapping. The picture above was one of my favorites as the pose, the coloring and contrast work well. Let’s see some of the humans I captured that day 👽.
This guy from Nepal came with his family. He has been in Japan for 18years strong. The contrast and filter on this one worked well. He was a real friendly dude.
This Japanese young lady, only 17 is actually making her way into professional modeling and will work at Vancouver Fasion week soon. Best of luck to her. In the first photo I caught her with her mask down 😂 as she was reluctant to take it off, but hey gotta eat. The woman in the other picture is her mother, a very kind and classy lady. The first shot is a bit too edited.
I met some very cool people from Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 and Malawi 🇲🇼. Always interesting to meet my brothers and sisters. Our starting conversation was funny but true.
“Where are you guys from?”
”We are from Zimbabwe.”
”I’m from 🇲🇼 Malawi. How about you?”
”I’m from Jamaica, I was one of those who got taken away.”
”HAHAHAHAHAHAH.”
We exchanged contact details but at first wondered on what app. So many choices these days. Soon I can say link me on the HIVE and many will know.
This shot could have done with a little more editing looking at it now. But it’s a nice melting pot of a photo. If you look closely you can see my twins.
Here is my youngest doing a pineapple smash. Usually it’s a watermelon smash but this is all we had. It worked out as pine is harder and lasts longer.
The guy on the left from Malawi 🇲🇼 the gal on the right from Zimbabwe 🇿🇼. I heard they are involved in music and are doing some band work. They will start performing in local bars and I’m looking forward ti seeing them.
These two Floridians mostly kept to themselves but were ok to pose for a snap. The mother and son really do look alike, I thought the son was a daughter at first but hey. The mom said she has been to Jamaica and I guessed where on the first try, Montego Bay. It’s the tourist, as well as crime capital of Jamaica. Funny how that works.
While sitting down I saw these two strolling by, too adorable. I quickly took a snap and it came out great. Gotta love the kids. This is also one of my favorite shots from the day.
I had to ask this empress to take her mask off and I’m glad she did. Such a beautiful smile and I’m loving the locks. She is from Malawi and her husband is in picture above. Their son is very cute and inquisitive.
This empress again. I really enjoyed talking with here. She is the kind of person that gives off a good vibe while keeping it as real as possible. Looking forward to hanging out with her and her husband again soon.
It’s great to see how international Japan is becoming, even in the so called “countryside”, the pot is surely melting. I hope you enjoyed the snaps. And in the words of Jimmy Cliff, “Wonderful World, Beautiful People”. Thanks for stopping by.
