SPLINTERLANDS- HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE LADDER

I will try to explain what is this crypto game with a few words! If you are familiar with the game skip this part! So if anyone is new here and doesn't know what the game is about let me explain it to you. Splinterlands is a play to earn a game in the NFT world. The game operates in the Hive blockchain and it is a trading game genre! To put it simply it's a card game that whenever you win you earn DEC (basically the crypto-coin of the game), the more you play and you are going up in the ladder, the more rewards you get (such as NFT-cards, etc). If you want to join and take a taste of the game, you can do that for free but if you want to start earning DEC and grind for NFT cards and earn more rewards you must buy the Summoner's Spellbook. I totally recommend starting your journey today and to help you with that we are going to review today one battle for my daily ranked games!

• Unprotected: Monsters do not have any armor and do not get armor from Abilities or Summoner Buffs.
• Melee Mayhem: Melee attack Monsters can attack from any position.

Team Formation

• The first monster I used is Harklaw, the reason is obviously to tank the melee and ranged damage from my opponent's monsters. The Shield ability is perfect for this matchup!
• The second monster I used is Cursed Windeku one of my favorites because its stats are really good and the Thorns ability in this situation is also very useful!
• The Third choice was Sand Worm and I chose that monster for his Sneak ability and high damage output!
• The fourth pick was Disintegrator and his ability Demoralize was a must for this formation!
• My fifth pick was Undead Rexx, the reason was the high damage output and the high health!
• My last pick was Uraeus, and the reason was its sneak ability and the low mana cost.

How to approach the battle

The correct way to deal with these types of battles is to just play melee monsters with very high stats (both Attack and Health) in the right order. You should take advantage of the rule and try to break your opponent's formation from the frontline monster. Also, monsters with the Shield ability are very useful and of course, some others like Divine Shield, Enarage, Retaliate, etc. If you have any questions about anything you can reach out to me through the comment section or on any other social media platform!
