SPLINTERLANDS - TALES FROM SILVER - VENARI EDITION

Hello world and fellow Hivers
Before we are going to continue with the gaming-related stuff, I wanted to tell you that this week I am not going to upload so often content because my exams are closing and I need to invest more time in my studies! But enough with that, today we are going to review a battle from my daily Hustle but with a card that I don't use so much often! Our spotlight card for this post is going to be the Venari Knifer, a Common card for the Earth class! The initiative for this post is the Share your Battle Challenge from Splinterlands! Please Enjoy!

Review of the card

The stats are pretty good even at level 1, I think it's better to play it at level 3 and above because of the +1 Attack! At level 6 it gains the Backfire ability and simply does 2 damage when an enemy monster misses.

The Battle

Ruleset

• Weak Magic: *Magic Attacks hit Armor before reducing Health.
• Lost Legendaries: Legendary monsters may not be used in this battle.

Teams' Formation

At the first position I placed the Failed Summoner because I saw my opponent's battle history and he was spamming only Magic attack monsters. So with 2 Mana, we are going to protect our main tank and we are going to deal some damage to his main attack dealers! So the rest of our team is going to easily cripple his winning combo!

The second monster I used in my formation was Venari Knifer, the reason as you can see it's obviously the stats of this monster! Also, this monster is the spotlighted card, we should use in order to participate in the challenge 😂. To be honest, I really like the Thorns ability and I recommend using this card in your daily grind!

The third monster I used was Sand Worm, to be honest, it is one of my favorite cards and I use it quite often and that is the reason I've got it at level 3 and Golden Foil. So until now, I believe that you've already understood that the way of dealing with the Nature Magic combo is to use monsters with the Sneak ability and that means it's going to destroy the backline monsters of our opponent!

My fourth pick for this battle was the Goblin Thief and this is also one of the cards I use a lot when I want to pick sneak cards. I believe that it was necessary to add another Sneak ability monster to my formation because Sand Worm would need some help in order to penetrate more easily at my opponent's defense! Also, I believe that this card has great stats even from level 1! ![GREEN.DIVIDER.png]( My fifth pick was the Elven Cutthroat and this is also one of the cards I use a lot so this is why I've got it at level 4 and Golden Foil. I believe that it was necessary to focus only on Sneak ability monsters in my formation!

The last pick I chose to close up my formation was today's Uraeus. It's a very decent sneak melee attack monster with very good stats! I placed it at the end because it has one armor and among the other sneak monster was the "tanky"!
