Magandang buhay!
We were in Bambang earlier this week and after visiting the property we bought, we returned to the B&B for our meal. The kids wanted to swim so we headed to the pool after breakfast. We were glad no one else was there so we owned the whole place that morning. It was just before 9 and the sun was hiding behind the clouds so it was a little chilly. My siblings spent some time by the poolside chitchatting while we went to find ourselves swimwear as we didn't bring any with us.
On returning, I took my LilGuy for a walk. He ran around until we got closer to the water.
Unfortunately, he was not allowed to take a dip so after his playtime, he stayed on the chair by the poolside and just watched.
But before lounging there, he enjoyed the grass around the pool area, sniffing, running, jumping, and whatever else. He loved it but I did not remove his leash because he was just given a special privilege to play in the restricted area by the hotel's management.
Well, he behaved the whole time so there wasn't any problem. Even the staff monitoring the pool was chuffed.
The areas surrounding the pool are clean and spacious. A basketball and a volleyball court are available (with an additional fee) for guests who want to break some more sweat.
I spent just a little over an hour in the pool because the water was cold. Besides, my Yongi was already getting bored😅 so we headed to our room but first, he took some time playing on the grass (again).
Here are some pics of the green areas between the pool, the function hall, the pavilions, and the main hotel building. The palm trees and other plants give the place some natural charms.

I was surprised to see rose-like blooms on the Monstera pots but on getting up close, I found they were artificial.😅 They are nice though adding a bit of color to the plants.
The hotel also offers services for weddings, birthdays, and other events, hence there are several pavilions complete with chairs and tables. The function hall is also good for those who prefer the indoors for their parties.
We heard from the front desk that only 7 rooms were occupied when we were there but we did not bump into the other guests, even when we went for breakfast. Nevertheless, we had a lovely stay and had fun. I appreciated that even when they don't allow pets, they gave us some consideration and allowed our Yongi to sleep in the room with us and play in the gardens/lawns and areas around the pool.
The Sofia Hotel Bed & Breakfast is a cozy place with basic amenities that guests can enjoy. They have some spacious green areas for those who like to have lil strolls in the mornings or evenings. The staff are nice and friendly too! Considering we didn't have a booking, we were allowed to check the rooms before checking in. There isn't any additional fee or time limit when using the pool so that's a plus point too!
We checked out before noon and headed to lunch then to our next destination which I may write about at another time. Until then, happy weekend, frens! It's Saturday here and we are finally back home in DD. With the rains, we are going to be mostly lazy today😅
