Most of the street art that I saw when I was in Buenos Aires in January this year, was in the district of Palermo. I didn’t expect to find something in Puerto Madero, but this was found here. Puerto Madero is one of the youngest districts located by sea and where the old harbor used to be. It’s right behind the Casa Rosada and Plaza de Maya. It’s modern, with skyscrapers and lots of restaurants. I didn’t expect to find any street art here. But I did find thes beautiful portraits. It's sad to see that someone has scribbled on these beautiful portraits. I tried to take some close up photos to avoid seeing it.
We did a walk along the harbor promenade on both sides, and of course we crossed by to the opposite side by the iconic Puente de la Mujer. A pedestrian bridge, that might be the most popular place in this district. Just after crossing we passed these beautiful paintings. Besides the bridge and the old cranes, that is worth admiring, it was nice to see these paintings as well. We did not walk further away, so I don’t know if we might have seen some more.
