| Я живу в подмосковном городе Электросталь. Это молодой промышленный город. На одной из главных улиц города проспекте Ленина можно увидеть огромный портрет, изображенный на стене 12-этажного дома. Это дань уважения основателю города – Николаю Александровичу Второву. | I live in the town of Elektrostal near Moscow. This is a young industrial city. On one of the main streets of the city, Lenin Avenue, you can see a huge portrait depicted on the wall of a 12-story building. This is a tribute to the founder of the city, Nikolai Aleksandrovich Vtorov. |
| Статус города Электросталь получила в 1938 году. До начала 20 века здесь находился дачный поселок Затишье. Во времена роста промышленности это место заинтересовало крупного российского предпринимателя Николая Александровича Второва. Совместно с А. И. Коноваловым и М. И. Терещенко он основал первый в России завод электростали под фирмой товарищество «Электросталь». С 2016 года началось строительство электрометаллургического завода по самым передовым технологиям. А уже 17 ноября 1917 года на заводе «Электросталь» была произведена первая плавка. | Elektrostal received city status in 1938. Until the beginning of the 20th century, there was a holiday village called Zatishye. During the growth of industry, this place attracted the interest of a major Russian entrepreneur, Nikolai Aleksandrovich Vtorov. Together with A.I. Konovalov and M.I. Tereshchenko, he founded the first electric steel plant in Russia under the company Elektrostal partnership. Since 2016, construction of an electrometallurgical plant using the most advanced technologies began. And already on November 17, 1917, the first melting was carried out at the Elektrostal plant. |

| Электросталь помнит о Н.А. Второве. Ему установлен памятник и бюст, в его честь названа одна из улиц. И с помощью промышленных альпинистов в 2015 году на доме 3 по проспекту Ленина выполнен этот огромный портрет. Насколько я понимаю, закончили масштабный портрет в 2016 году к 150-летию Второва. Работы вела московская фирма по заказу городской администрации. | Elektrostal remembers N.A. Vtorov. A monument and bust were erected to him, and one of the streets was named in his honor. And with the help of industrial climbers, in 2015 this huge portrait was made on house 3 on Lenin Avenue. As far as I understand, the large-scale portrait was completed in 2016 for the 150th anniversary of Vtorov. The work was carried out by a Moscow company commissioned by the city administration. |
