Today I take you to Sweden 🇸🇪 with my StreetArt and Statue find. I have left Sweden yesterday and arrived safely back in Ireland. I miss Sweden already, still so much more I would like to see there 😉

I found the following;
The large mythical narwhal is the subject of Roa’s most recent mural in Örebro, Sweden for the OpenART 2013. Its fin appears to be snagged by a hook with the rope wrapped around its tale. The Inuit people have been harvesting narwals for over a thousand years for meat and Ivory which still continues to this day under certain hunting regulations.

I didn’t have time to find out if I could reach the other side of the wall… to see the bottom part, but I captured it as good as I could 😊
For its age, this mural looks still in pretty great state 😎
To me… what the artist has portrayed; it’s sad in many ways. A strong message he sends out.
Later in the day I walked through the stadsparken / park of the city Örebro and found this awesome STATUE I just had to share with you all today 😎
The size was life like. 😊

So many details… I was so lucky to find this statue.
I like it. It’s cool!
I found more information in the website of Örebro city in Swedish about this artwork ; Örebro - culture no English unfortunately, but you could translate if you want to check it out.
