Hi all ππ»
Today I want to share with you some more StreetArt finds in Paris. This time we go to the 10th Arr. ~ France π«π·
I found something entirely different than the normal graffiti / murals π I show you today a Bas-relief wall carving.
I visited this beautiful city beginning of the month of July 2022 as most know by now. And I just loved the amount of StreetArt I saw all around meβ¦ it was just amazing to say the least. π The most I ever saw in one place. So you will see StreetArt from all over Paris in the next weeksβ¦ stay tuned! I will, going forward, mix it up again with other places.
The first photo will be my entry into the βCCC's Street Art Contest #103β hosted by @digi-me
Thank you @trincowski, @heroldius, @melinda010100, @ecency, @tobetada and @arcange and many more for supporting this contest!

Letβs have a look at what else I found in Paris.
Artist: ALEXANDRE FARTO aka Vhils
Title: Part of Scratching the surface
Location: Rue Ambroise ParΓ©, 10th Arr. in Paris
Work Created in 2019
This plaque with information states the following:
(I translated with Google translate for you)
βAlexandre Farto, better known as Vhils, first became known for his interventions in the urban space, in particular his large-format portraits carved on the walls in an approach questioning the role of architecture and the place of man in the urban environment.
For him, walls are not static and lifeless, on the contrary, they are organic surfaces that absorb what surrounds them and resonate with their environment. The successive layers that compose them preserve the memory of the places, the marks of history, and thus give each city and every quarter its particular character.
Proyecto Scratching the Surface, 2019
Bas-relief wall carving
Approx. 250 Γ 650 cm
Located near the LariboisiΓ¨re Hospital, the work carried out is part of his emblematic project entitled "Scratching the Surface", which has already led him to create large-format frescos on the walls of about thirty countries around the world.β
Closer look at his signature.
