Hello HIVE Community and Street Art Fans! I hope all of you are doing well.
For CCC's Street Art Contest #150, I would like to share a mural in Charlotte, NC. I took a trip there last June and captured quite a few pictures of the street art throughout the city. I lived and worked in Charlotte for over a decade. I miss everything about the city, especially my friends and all the art to see there.
All images were taken with my old LG Velvet cellphone camera and enhanced with my new Google Pixel 7a.
This is one of my favorite murals in Charlotte and my entry for this contest
This vibrant mural is located at 3927 Monroe Road in Charlotte, NC on the side of the Cosmic Tattoo building. Monroe Road has a street art trail that stretches for several miles. You can see more street art at this location by visiting Art Walks CLT
The artists that painted the mural above are Dustin Spagnola and Lord Melto. The portraits of Jerry Garcia and Brent Mydland were done by Spagnola and the background was done by Melto.
Thanks for stopping by and checking out this cool street art in Charlotte, NC. I've added several more photos of street art from this trip below for you to enjoy. Peace!
