Splinterlands — PIZZA 4 Brawl report

🐲 Brawl Report 🐲

Some Brawls I don't get the best feeling after entering my teams. Poor mana counts, rulesets or available splinters play a role. This Brawl was one of those instances where I just felt everything was off. I probably should have stepped back after getting the feeling from the first entry, but it is what it is, and we live to fight another Brawl.

Thaddius v Kelya — I have a good luck with Thaddius lately, but this was an epic fail to start. My opponents Bakjjira prevented my blast damage and I was outclassed across the board. Loss (0—1)

Kelya v Quix — Outclassed for the second battle in a row. I was happy with my team selection going into the battle, but my opponent had a touch more magic damage allowing them to get through Diemonshark more quickly. Loss (0—2)

Tarsa v Thaddius — This is one of those Brawls where I question if I have any idea what I'm doing? Three blowout losses! Loss (0—3)

Obsidain v Grandmaster Rathe — Can't lose them all I guess 😀 I just need to be able to play Quora every time Win (1—3)

Thaddius v Thaddius — My Thaddius luck is back, it helps to have the higher level summoner 😀 Win (2—3)

Thaddius v Grandmaster Rathe — A rare level two Grandmaster sighting. Didn't go as well for me as against the level one 😀 My opponents double repair with Void Armor upfront was impenetrable Loss (2—4)

👎👎 It wasn't just the 3-4 finish that leaves a bad taste in my mouth, but the absolute beat down I took in the four losses. One of them I could have made better choices, but the other three I was greatly outclassed. 👎👎

We still managed 90 points, but we were up against some stiff competition this Brawl and that was only good enough for fifth place. I feel a bit better about my losing record seeing the high scores put up by some of the other guilds. I'll keep working on upgrading my collection and hopefully in the not too distant future it will be another guild complaining how much I am outclassing them 😀
