Hey Fellow Gamers
I hope you're well and leading a happy life.
- As I showed in my last post, I was finally able to discover a new way to the temple and finally reached the trench of the ringed temple. But, soon after that, we met a new type of enemy as shown below. He was saying something in the ancient language that we didn't understand. But it was clear that he was threatening us. They then went back, I guess to come back with more reinforcements.
- After he was gone, we continued our journey. We solved many puzzles and discovered a lot of new places. Then we came across a place where Kratos pushed Atreus above and then tried to climb up himself.
- But, as soon as Atreus got up, that enemy came back and captured Atreus. He was trying to kidnap Atreus and some of them tried to capture Kratos too. And as expected, Kratos wasn't happy with it.
- Just then the options to turn on the gladiator mode showed up and as soon as I pressed those buttons, Kratos went on a full rampage to save Atreus. I was no longer in control of him and he was doing all the fighting on his own.
- Atreus was a little far from him and after beating the enemies that were holding him, he broke a huge piece of stone by punching it and pushed it towards those enemies that were holding Atreus as captive. He also gave Atreus a signal to move away otherwise Atreus would be crushed by that stone too.
- After that, I got my control back and killed that super monster that kidnapped Atreus. He was really tough to kill and the fight was intense too.
- We also had to engage in some other fights on our way until we finally reached the gate that took us to the place from where we could unlock the bridge that could take us to the temple. But, to get there we needed to cross some more bridges and do some climbing too. And after all that we finally reached the place with Atreus on the back of Kratos.
- But, after climbing up there, just as soon as we approached to cut down the monster to unlock the light, an ancient stone giant woke up and started attacking us. I tried many ways to kill it but it wasn't even taking a single damage even from my strongest attacks. And that's not it, he uses his stone arms to smash the attack and also a light power source from his chest to perform a lesser attack which is deadly too.
- I was constantly getting hit while trying to kill him and he wasn't even taking a single damage. And after a long fight, I died from his attacks. Even constantly using healing stones wasn't enough for me to stay alive.
- I resurrected myself using the resurrection stone by Atreus. But, unfortunately, that didn't heal my life. So, only one hit was needed to kill me again and I'd need to restart the checkpoint. SO, this time I tried to try out a strategy and found out that, if I can hit the middle of his chest just right before he attacks me, I can deal a huge amount of damage to him. And it meant I only got a 2-second break each time to attack him.
- So, after being alive again and restarting the checkpoint, it barely took me 30 seconds to kill the stone giant this time.
- After killing the giant, I destroyed the limb of that monster that was blocking the light of Alfheim from entering. I needed to clear the way so that the light could come through to charge the magical stones so that the bridge could reappear.
Finally reached the main temple. From now on, a new journey will start.
