From Space Fights to Underwater Exploration, No Man's Sky is beautiful

Hello and Welcome back to my blog!

I played many games but none has a bigger world than the world Universe of No Man's Sky. It stretches beyond what you can imagine from a game. The use of Procedural generation is done beautifully to make billions of stars and planets spread across many Galaxies. The scale of this game is quite big. It's so big that if you decide to go to a random system, almost all the time that system will be unexplored ready to be conquered and renamed by you.

But today I am not here to talk about the details of this vast world but to show you the beauty of it.

I warped to a random system and the first thing I notice is the two stars in this system. I have explored only a handful of Systems in this game but this is the first time I saw a binary star system. I knew they were not too uncommon in space (because of the sheer no. of stars) but seeing it in the game was quite surprising. That's what I love about this game. The attention to detail is amazing.

This system had one beautiful double-ringed planet. Ringed planets are quite common but a double ring makes it a bit better I guess. I wonder if there are triple-ringed planets in the game.

Anyway, this planet was much like Earth. The blue you see is the water on the surface. I had to land there and see what was going on down there.

It had tall mountains and a thick atmosphere. Most of the planet was covered with water.

Naturally, it had a lot of fauna and flora. At least 3-4 species of flying dinosaurs (exactly how I imagined flying dinosaurs would look like xD).

But most of its fauna was inside the water. There were a lot of different types of fish. I swam along them scanning everything and enjoying my exploration session.

Everything you discover can be renamed and uploaded to the server so if another player comes on this planet, they will see that updated name and the name of the player who discovered those.

There were some glowing planets inside the water. A lot of them!

I took pictures of this planet from another planet and they turned out to be so beautiful. Those rings glow in the dark and make the shot so interesting.

And the sunrise was beautiful too.

But those pesky sentinel robots got after me and I took flight. But they follow you in space too and that started a big space fight with Debrii fleeing all over the place.

Their mothership came to assist in these fights but I took care of that too.

There are more shots that I took from these battles. This one is an old one but you can sense the action from this shot.

These skirmishes doesn't last too long now as I have an S class ship now with good weapons and extra protection. I can take town the whole fleet easily. I still have to do my story missions though. I have been dodging them and exploring on my own. But I should go back and do those mission. I still don't know a lot about this game and those help me teach some more mechanics.

Hope you enjoyed these captures! I will be back with a new system.

the underwater fauna looks amazing but the shots of the planet with the two rings is just beautiful, it's incredible how this game is so beautiful and yet infinite, I remember when it came out it was a disappointment but over time it became one of the most beautiful titles of all :D
