Una mirada a la política en Hive
Nuestra condición humana posee una inclinación determinante en torno a la política, somos seres sociales estamos hechos en función de los otros eso hace estrictamente necesario la existencia de una reflexión política. Muchas personas siguen pensando que la política remite solo y únicamente a los procesos que utilizan los proyectos de estado-nación, tales como las elecciones, debates, partidos políticos, ministerios y entre otros mecanismos. Pero, realmente la política en sentido estricto va más allá.
El día de ayer mi amigo @jonsnow1983 entrevistó a @elmerlin líder del proyecto Liketu, si no pudiste estar presente en la entrevista, descuida que por lo que tengo entendido ha sido grabado y pronto se subirá a 3Speak, realmente no pretendo hacer ningún tipo de spoilers, remito a esta mención ya que durante esta entrevista, en la cual, un segmento se remitió al lanzamiento de Liketu como Witness y en el proceso mi cerebro hizo Kaboom🤯 ya que me hizo reflexionar mucho sobre lo que implica la política en Hive.
Sin duda que Elmerlin es una persona con unos criterios bastante claros y una visión de mundo que admiro y respeto, de hecho, comparto muchas de sus ideas, es de esas personas que cuando le oyes hablar, o comunicar sus ideas sin duda te hace pensar y reflexionar. En mi caso, es algo que valoro mucho, además que no es algo que ocurra tan frecuentemente. Ahora bien, volvamos al asunto de la política.
Hive no esta exento de política, aunque sea un protocolo blockchain, posee un ecosistema y posee una naturaleza profundamente social, es decir, hay interacción humana de por medio, de modo que necesita de cierta visión política. Pensar en el protocolo de Hive: DPOS (Prueba de participación delegada) es comprender que por medio de mecanismos de consenso se delega en ciertas personas la responsabilidad y el deber velar por el funcionamiento y la operatividad de la blockchain, ya que sustenta todo un ecosistema.
El código de Hive, sus sistema operativo es aquello que subyace y que es gracias a los witness puede funcionar, y aunque hay una retribución en $Hive por la tarea técnica ser uno de estos delegados o Witness va mucho más allá.
Hagamos una analogía aunque sea bastante simplista, en esencia opera bajo el mismo principio. Pues, básicamente Hive es una especie de gran conjunto residencial digital donde convergen más de un centenar de aplicaciones, aplicaciones que son usadas por todo aquel que posea una cuenta en Hive, que a la fecha y sin temor a equivocarme son más de 2.5 millones de personas al rededor del mundo, estamos hablando que los witness son los voceros en este gran edificio llamado Hive.
Ser testigo debe ser concebido como un servicio público, una responsabilidad que recae sobre las personas que no solamente cumplen con los requerimientos técnicos y operativos necesarios para correr un nodo de Hive, sino que, por su trayectoria, trabajo y desarrollo puede cargar en hombros la responsabilidad que implica representar ser un testigo.
Ahora bien, hay que comprender el ADN del protocolo DPOS para saber de qué manera se realizan estos procesos políticos de manera técnica. La estructura filosofica de Hive incentiva a los stakeholders con influencia y peso, no todos los votos poseen la misma fuerza de influencia pero si el mismo valor. El poder ejercer un voto, es ejercer poder, parece un juego de palabras, pero, si lo piensas bien, filosóficamente tiene implicaciones que es valioso considerar. Ahora bien, dependerá de mi Stake es decir, la cantidad de HivePower mi nivel de influencia, es decir, que hay un incentivo filosófico y político en la retención de Hive.

Ser testigo es comenzar una carrera política, ya que por un lado representas a aquellos que han votado por ti, estas personas confían en ti, y por otro lado, entrarás en un estado de relaciones diplomáticas con los otros testigos, creando un ambiente de dialogo continuo en función del continuo desarrollo y continua mejora de Hive.
La política en Hive sin duda es una innovadora visión de pensar la política, si quizá buscamos pensar el protocolo basándonos sus características superficiales y teniendo en mente los procesos convencionales de hacer política en el statu quo, pudiésemos afirmar que a nivel político en Hive es una especie de plutocracia democratizada. Pero, como no me gustan las etiquetas y no me parece acorde los esquemas convencionales de hacer política, entiendo que la política en Hive va mucho más allá de ello, y me es imposible etiquetarla y eso es lo profundamente innovador, ya que a nivel estructural político, Hive rompe el sistema tradicional y eso es poderosamente positivo.
Esta ha sido una aproximación a lo que puede ser la política en Hive, no pretendo poseer la verdad, ni un único criterio, es una reflexión que ha sido suscitada luego de oír la entrevista antes mencionadas, y quiero hacer la salvedad de liberar cualquier ápice de responsabilidad sobre mis palabras a jonsnow y a elmerlin.
