This weekend, I went to visit my mother in the town where I lived throughout my youth. It's a very small town, with no more than 700 inhabitants, but while I lived there, it seemed like paradise. I remember almost all the adventures I went on around the town, almost always fishing in the rivers that surround it, going into the woods and staying there for hours and hours, and often worrying my mother because of these adventures. It was a very nice place, in fact, it still is!
Now, my type of exploration is different. With the drone, I can go to the same places I did before and the feeling is almost the same, because seeing things from above is a different sensation. It's not like I know the place like the back of my hand! Our eyes get used to always seeing things from the same perspective, and when it changes, it doesn't feel like the same place. The good thing about having a tool like this, flying over places, is that I can see things I've always wanted to see but never managed to, or even understand the whole context of the place. Orientation is very different when you have a broader view. Having a drone is being able to have that conception, it's one of the best purchases I've ever made.
It was good to be able to do this, to revisit places I hadn't seen for a long time, and the summary of this feeling is that I felt like a little boy discovering new things again!

A orientação é bem diferente quando temos uma visão mais ampla. Ter um drone é conseguir ter essa concepção, é uma das melhores compras que já fiz.
Foi bom poder fazer isso, revisitar lugares que há muito não via, e o resumo dessa sensação é que me senti novamente um garotinho descobrindo novas coisas!
