G'day hive,
On Easter Sunday we had another amazing day out on Moreton Island in Queensland Australia!
A day full of snorkeling and exploring the wrecks. The day started out a bit overcast with a light drizzle of rain. But after a quick snorkel the sun came out and this was my window to fly my drone up and get a couple more shots of the wrecks from a different perspective then the last time we were here.
This time there wasn't as many tall sail boats anchored up around the wrecks, so I could fly the drone a bit closer to them.
And get a closer look at these old rusted ships from above.
At this point the tide started to come in so the wrecks weren't as exposed compared to low tide.
And there were a lot of tour snorkel groups around the wreck, as well as kayaks and even scuba divers.
It's always such a a great vibe here at the wrecks. The boats anchored up playing music and the 4x4s on the beach cooking up BBQs. The smell of cooking sausages and tunes is perfect!
I really like this shot of the wrecks with the sand dunes in the background sums up the day perfectly!
I shot these images on my DJI mini 2.
Thanks for stopping by
