Hello everyone, it's another Thursday and complement of the season, today I will be talking about a trip I had few weeks back, a trip I know ment something to me and I'd like to share it here for my #tbt participation.
I'm privileged to be part of an awesome theme and our aim is to reach out to the less privileged and also with the gospel of Christ, we go for outreachs in different villages and minister the gospel of Christ to the villagers, we also do our best to help the villagers with what we can afford.
The recent outreach we went for was in a village called MAIGANGA, and the experience we had there was one of a kind, the villagers were very happy to see us, they expressed how glad they were and their readiness to receive the gospel of Christ, we were also excited about their readiness and trust me it was like the heavens were opened.
One thing that inspired me to join that theme is that, I love helping people in every way I can and definitely the most important gift you could give to someone is the gift of salvation, money and material things are very good but someone that is not saved can't enjoy them (I say this with no intention to ridicule any religion), I believe helping people is firstly all about ensuring their safety then you could give them any other thing.
The last outreach we had was so powerful, villagers turned out in the crusade and when we have them our gifts ( food stuffs and clothes) they were very excited, the flow of excitement got to us and we were also excited to be privileged to help others.
Though we were tired at some point but we took it as a sacrifice for the villagers, in the outreach there were different sections, we did morning cry, we did personal counseling for people that needed it, we also did crusade, we gave gifts to people, we did a film show and somany other things.
You can also help other people around you expecially in this festive season, somany people don't have what to eat, you can give just a little and it would be something worthy of remembrance.
Thanks everyone and see you next week.
