Happy new year guys, it's another Thursday and it's the first Thursday of the year, yeah it's an exciting moment for me, I'd also love to throw a tumsup to everyone that made it to this year with God's help, I pray for more upgrades.
Today I would love to travel back in time to almost six months back, when I was about to start my IT program, it was kind of hectic because it was my first time, I was asked to go to another town and Carry out my IT program, it was another issue for me even though I kind of loved it Sha but the truth is that I wasn't ready to spend on house rent.
First of all, when I and my department mates went to submit our IT latter, things didn't go the way we expected, the hospital we ideally planned for failed us so we had to look for another hospital or clinic in that same town, we finally got a hospital that day but another there was another problem, we were asked to submit our IT latter the next day and don't forget that we came from another town, most of us had nobody in that town to spend the night in his or her house, thank God for one of our mate that lives in that town, we were able to get a place to spend the night and the next day we submitted our IT latter.
We were accepted and the IT program was scheduled for six which I'm already done with, during that period, I did actually plan to learn with the best of my abilities because it's a one time program in my school and it's divided in to two, six months in one hospital and another six months in another hospital, I made the best out of the opportunities I got to learn, infact sometimes we were given assignments and when others didn't take it too serious, I did because I knew that "no knowledge is a waist".
I enjoyed everything about the program and I'm still on it, searching out for another facility to complete the program, at first I saw it as something difficult to do, but as passed i became used to what is done in the lab.
Its common for every beginner to be scared of causing damages in the lab, I felt the same way, but I learnt to build confidence in myself, someone told me that if I don't believe in myself, I shouldn't expect any other person to believe in me, so I had to believe in myself.
One of the challenges I experienced back then was collecting of blood samples, though it the easiest thing to do but it was a challenge because of my eye defect, due to that I had to purchase a prescribed glass for myself though it was expensive but I had no choice.
